2 services

Yesterday was spent all day at ICA/GAP church (the morning service is ICA and evening is GAP) where we led both services. We came to the church a few hours early to prepare. Before service (ICA) began the rest of the team prayed with the leaders and members of the church over different topics affecting japan. While I joined a teenage bible study where I gave my testimony.

For the first service we lead worship with a team of ICA members. Then Robert gave the message on the Beauty of God. At the same time Tyler was leading children's church teaching about the prodigal son and the Fathers love.

After the first service we had a potluck where we ministered to members of the ICA body and ate food that they brought. Then after the potluck and a hour break. We prepared for the second service. The second service (GAP) we lead worship with just our team. After worship Aaron Bennett gave the sermon on the Bridegroom, while I was leading children’s church talking about the love of the father also through the story of the prodigal son.

Then after service we ministered to members of GAP and Robert ministered to a young man that came in before service while we were practicing. He came in cause her heard us sing and he stayed for the service. So we stayed there for alittle bit ministering to them all.

Yesterday was another enjoyable day of ministry even though it was super tiring. We first evangelized at Todai University, which consisted of giving out tracks, Books of Hope, and talking to whoever we could. Allowing many who may have never heard in there life to get a big or small witness of Christ. We gave tracks to as many people as possible at one point one of our teams tried to give a track to someone who already received a track from another group. It was awesome.

After that we went to ICA/GAP where we participated in a prayer meeting and unexpectedly lead worship for, something we didn't prepare for. But Holy Spirit came as we worshipped who he was and then circled up with the leaders from ICA/GAP and prayed for the services that our going on today and other topics that God laid open the leaders hearts.

Then we returned to the Chi Alpha Student Center (which is the place we are staying at and also a prayerroom) and prepared to lead a prayerroom set for 2 hours. The set consisted of Worship for about 20 to 30 min. Then Robert talked about IHOPUSA (International House of Prayer Student Awakening) how it started and also giving his testimony on how God impacted him during IHOPUSA. Aaron Bennett and Toni Lynn also gave there testimonies on what God did in them during the awakenings. Then as we got prepared to do the last hour with Worship with the Word from Psalm 27:1-2. The Holy Spirit lead us into a different direction for a few min as we went into intercession for the Holy Spirit to come to Japan. Then we went into Worship with the Word around Psalm 27:1-2. Then after we ministered to those who came to the meeting before debriefing and heading to bed

Yesterday was our day off. So we went out and saw different places in Japan. The coolest thing was that even in a time of relaxing we still gave ourselves to witnessing and seeing Gods word reach the lost. We would passed out tracks and gave people Books of Hope. (books of hope our books that our written in Japanese that tell the gospel and different things in a cool magazine like format)
It was an enjoyable time of rest and getting to know eachother as a team.
