Soccer and Machida

Yesterday morning the guys Robert, Aaron, Tyler and I went to a park near Waseda to play soccer with a group of university students. It was a fun time of exercise and ministry. We had alot of awesome conversations where we got to talk about Christ. After that we cleaned up the student center and left for Machida. We had trouble finding the bus but God sent a random Japanese guy to come help us. The man helped us find the bus and we made it to Evergreen chapel safely. God blessed us with safe travel and amazing encounters.

Today we will be prayer walking and practicing for the ministry we will be doing this weekend.

Lunch and Dinner with Yuri-CHAN!!

So yesterday we went and had lunch at Todai with Yuri at 12 and we enjoyed being able to bless our friend. After that we headed to Waseda University and started to do worship/evangelism, which consisted with a team worshipping while the others went out two by two evangelizing in Waseda. We got to have a lot of conversations with different people and gave out a lot of tracts.

Then after evangelizing we meet up with a team who are apart of YWAM and separated into two groups and had two bible studies on campus. This was the second time we got to minister with the YWAMers, we ministered with them two weeks ago at Waseda also. It was fun being able to work with them and minister to each other and see God connect the us IHOPers with the YWAMers we loved being able to minster with them and learn from them. After that we went out and had Ramen at a place near Waseda with Yuri, Susan, Hyunhee, and JunYoung. It was another fun time of fellowship and ministry to one another.

Today the guys are going to go play soccer at a park near Waseda and minister to them. Then after cleaning up the student center (the place we stayed while in Tokyo.) We will be leaving for Machida to go to Evergreen chapel.

Video Update

Powerful Day

Yesterday was an awesome day of ministry for us as a team. Kenneth led a team of Toni Lynn, Jordan, and Tyler to Tokyo University where they split into groups and worshiped The Lord as well as did evangelism. After that, Aaron and I joined them and then went over to do a Bible Study with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries in one of the academic buildings of Tokyo University.

During the Bible Study, I led worship, then Tyler shared how he got set free from performance and shame. Aaron then delivered a powerful message on having confidence before The Lord and being set free from shame and condemnation. Many people were touched as Aaron shared about God and His heart for believers.

At night, we all went and spent four hours ministering to two Japanese people. God orchestrated everything so uniquely and we were able to preach the Gospel to them in a way that was easy and understandable. They did not receive Christ yet, but we are believing God for them to both get saved.

It was an enjoyable and interactive service with toni asking questions and letting everyone answer after that we headed to a park near the ocean where we had a barbecue and ate alot of meat and vegetables. It was awesome and a blessing. After that we went to the ocean. So we got to see the Pacific ocean from a beach in Japan, and for some of us their first time seeing the ocean. Exercise and Ministry

Yesterday's main outreach showed us Gods perfect leadership. Trish and Toni Salisbury had rented an indoor basketball court for us so we could play sports and minister to those who came. But no one came to the outreach except the Salisbury Family, the Turner family and us. So, we went and talked to some young adults who were playing volleyball on another court and invited them to come play with us. Then, we spent about 2 and 1/2 hours ministering to them. We played volleyball, Knockout (a basketball game), and the Turner sisters taught some irish dancing which was fun to watch. We also got some contact information for the Salisbursy and us to keep in contact with the ones we met.
Today we have church in the morning and then a barbecue at the beach. We will get to see and minister to some of the people we met this week in Shibata.

So its been two days since our last post. So here is a synopsis of what been happening
Tuesday morning we left for Shibata taking a few trains to the Bullet train and then another to Shibata. I'n comparison to the tokyo we are in the country now. Then Wednesday we woke up did our chores and folded tracts. Then at 10:30 we took the tracts to different houses in the area. At 7 we had a prayer meeting that the team lead worship for. It was an enjoyable time of ministering to Tony and Trish Salisbury and all those in attendance

Today the Jordan and Toni Lynn are going to be helping with a ladies bible study and 10:30. We are also going to Keiwa and Niigata Universities to prayer walk and finally Grace Chapel in the evening.
